3 Springtime Chic Ensembles

Springtime is almost here! While hanging out with friends last night, we realized Daylight Saving’s Time is only  a few weeks away, I got way too excited. I’ve proclaimed my love for winter but nothing beats leaving work while the sun’s still out and feeling like you still have the whole day ahead of you. As much as I love the warm weather, it’s hard for me to get back into the spring wardrobe that everyone rants and raves all year about… I’ll say it – I love jeans. I wear jeans all year around and remain stocked up on a few pairs even during the summer. I work in a casual environment, so denim is basically my jam all year ’round aside from weekends where I might slip into a pair of shorts or a cute sundress.

So since I don’t really plan on giving up my love for jeans anytime soon even with spring approaching, below are three ways to work jeans into chic, springtime ensembles:

White tee // MK bag // Sperry’s //MK watch // Statement Necklace

A white tee and denim goes together like peanut butter and jelly. Throw in some fun jewelry, brown leather, and you’re all set! Sometimes instead of a statement necklace, I’ll opt for a light summer scarf to give my outfit a pop of color.

Spring doesn’t mean it’s time to toss the sweaters to the back of your closet just yet. Pair an open-stitched sweater with a bandeau bra for a casual look (as long as you feel covered up enough!) I’ve opened up about my fear of color on multiple occasions, so this magenta Longchamp bag is just enough spring color for me.

I loved peplum for the winter and I love it for the spring. Urban has a TON of peplum options at affordable prices – I already bought a short sleeve and lacy peplum tank from there. One thing that I actually DO love wearing during spring is sandals! The strappier, the better. Opt for a cute, lightweight blazer to polish off your look.
