February Fab Ab Workout Challenge

Spring is approaching quickly, which I’m really happy about! I’ve even already bought some cute bathing suits even though there’s still snow on the ground, but a girl can dream, right?

Along with warm weather comes beach days, as well as shorts, tanks, and bikinis, meaning it’s time to start working out to get that bikini bod. I’ll admit I’ve had zero motivation the past couple of months, as the weather has been less than welcoming. There’s nothing quite like coming home from work and curling up under the covers and a book to escape the cold, dreary weather but unfortunately, my body is starting to reflecting those decisions!

So in lieu of curling up under the bedcovers immediately and watching re-runs of The Walking Dead, I’m challenging myself to a February ab workout. Admittedly, I haven’t had any type of ab workout since high school (embarrassing), when I actually played sports. I’m more into cardio and I like to think I build muscle while horseback riding – it IS a huge workout, despite popular belief – but I would really like to work on my abs!

I found this great ab workout schedule for February -  no gym membership required. This is perfect for anyone who’s a bit out of shape like me because it starts out slow and helps you slowly build endurance over the month. I’m a bit late since today is February 4th but I think I can make it work!

So who’s up for the challenge with me?! What do you do to stay in shape over the winter?
